Vertical windlass mooring winches

Vertical windlass mooring winches enable a simple and reliable anchor handling and a safe mooring operation. They are particularly suitable if there is no enough available space on the deck for building-in horizontal winches.
They can be either electrically or hydraulically driven. A standard configuration includes a cable lifter and a warping end on the deck and a motor and a reduction gear located under the deck.

A cable lifter can be equipped either with a manually operated band brake or with a hydraulic release brake. Windlass part can be equipped with a remote anchor dropping system as well as with chain speed and chain length indicators. Control: local or remote
