Windlasses

Windlasses enable a simple, reliable and safe anchor handling during chain lifting, lowering or chain dropping. They can be either electrically or hydraulically driven. A standard configuration includes one or more cable lifters, i.e. drums.

Windlasses can be equipped either with manually operated band brakes or with hydraulic release brakes.
System for remote anchor dropping as well as chain speed and chain length indicators are available at customer’s request. Control: local or remote.
