In 2006 the companies STROJOPROMET – ZAGREB Ltd.  Zagreb and RAM Ltd. Rijeka bought Vulkan-dibo in bankruptcy and founded a new company under the name of VULKAN-NOVA Ltd.  A new company continued with previously registered business activities: production of equipment for shipbuilding industry and cranes, production of metal constructions, bearings, gears and spare parts for products from the production range and services in the field of engineering, designing and consulting.

Also, the company is committed to providing  customers with superior products made of high-quality raw materials and components by insisting on the constant and intensive quality improvement strategies.

The entire production is constantly supervised by quality control department. The management system of VULKAN-NOVA conforms to the Quality Management System standard ISO 9001:2015. The company was certified for the scope of design and manufacture of cranes and ship equipment by the certification body Det Norske Veritas in December 2007 .

Nowadays VULKAN-NOVA has between 90 and 120 employees. They are leaders in the manufacture of ship equipment in Croatia and one of the manufacturers with the longest tradition in this part of Europe with growing presence and tendency for future expansion and progress. This year Vulkan celebrates its 90th anniversary.
